There is one ICI membership, with a reduced annual price for instructors who have completed their instructor training with ICI.

Membership is open both to ICI-trained instructors and to indoor cycling instructors who completed their initial training elsewhere.
They're not the same thing
Your instructor certificate records the training and assessment you successfully completed. Membership is an optional, time-limited relationship with ICI.
Your training doesn't disappear if your membership ends.
If you trained with ICI, ending or not renewing membership does not undo the instructor training you completed. It simply means you no longer have current membership and its associated benefits.
